Work? Maybe I should Just Lay Down For Awhile…

On the way to take my 13-year-old to the orthodontist today, I sighed and said, “It is 1:30 and I have yet to do any work.” (non kid work, that is).

He said, “Me either. Feels pretty good.”lazy

It is easy to imagine that the “perfect” life would be to win the lottery and never work again, but…maybe not. I believe we were designed to have a balance of work and rest. Work is an important, meaningful part of our lives.

Tyler over at Becoming Minimalist recently ran a beautiful piece by Joshua Becker about this. Take a moment to read his very thoughtful and inspiring piece…Why We Work.
